Meet Our Team
Terri Hutchison M.A., CCC-SLP – Speech Language Pathologist – President
Born and raised in Southern California, Terri brings over 18 years’ experience practicing speech language pathology. Her mission is to “Lift the Life Spirit of Those We Serve!”
Terri earned her B.A. in 1989 in Applied Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. She changed her educational direction after her son was screened by an SLP at his preschool. It was then, while busy raising a family, that she earned her M.A. in Communicative Disorders from the California State University, Fullerton in 2004.
Prior to founding Life Spirit Speech Pathology, Inc., Terri provided speech pathology services in a variety of educational settings, including several Southern California school districts. To this day, she gives back to the community still offering children’s screenings through local preschools, the place her journey began when her son was first screened for such interventions.

Terri has been a presenter on the topic of assessing and treating speech sound disorders, and several times a year carries out behavioral training courses she has developed for parents of children with special needs, including Autism, Communication Disorders, and Processing Disorders. She is an avid mentor to undergraduate and graduate interns from Chapman University’s Speech & Language Dept.
Terri holds current state licensing through California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board, Clinical Competency via American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and American Hippotherapy Association Inc. (AHA)-Level II Equine Treatment Therapist, PATH International-Certified Instructor and Registered Therapist.
